"Wonderful place to see showcased works of my favorite Indigenous artist who is coincidentally a good friend of my dad's for many decades. My dad brought me to Tofino back in 1991 to introduce me to Roy.
This time, I decide to make my drive to Tofino (did it in 2019 but I was driving a different group of people at the time so never had the chance to go then) today to see the changes all this time. It was as awesome as I remembered as a kid so I had to go buy for my dad a copy of Copperman.
Finally as an adult, I can see artwork new and older ones I recalled and love to finally have the attention span and patience to read all the artist notes to understand the context of the art. Also I was able to purchase two of his block prints, Nunsulsailus & Chief's Dream (my all-time favorite artwork).
Can't wait to come back and enjoy this place again. Leaving this place always makes feel sad; definitely a must visit for people of all ages."
