"This was a terrific hike. We stayed at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge, and walked 15 minutes down the road to the trailhead. The trail is basically a switch back, going back and forth with gentle inclines. This is great for beginners and those who are a little more challenged. Do make sure that you wear decent hiking shoes as there are plenty of loose rocks heading up the hills."

We had some issues with parking as Tunnel Mountain Drive was closed for Melissa’s Road Race on the day we did our climb but ultimately figured it out and easily made it to the top for sweeping views of the Banff area, Mount Rundle and the Cascade Mountain."
