Any hiking trails in/around Kelowna that are shaded/not exposed to the sun?
Hello! I'm (mildly) allergic to the sun, but I really do want to go out and enjoy the long weekend! Are there any trails in the area that are mostly shaded? Help! Dont mind a bit of a drive :)

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise BX Falls for its natural beauty and accessibility, especially the refreshing creek on hot days. The improved stairs enhance the experience, though caution is advised on slippery surfaces. It's a beloved spot for short walks and enjoying the outdoors year-round.
"A friend took us to BX Falls for an easy hike to enjoy a beautiful waterfall and it did not disappoint. The hike down the path and stairs to the fall was easy and we all found it quite easy. The waterfall was beautiful and we got some cute group photos on the fall. We spent about an hour down there enjoying the falls and it was not very busy with only one other family down with us.
Parking was simple and there was lots available.
The drive to the falls was also easy, there was a bit of construction but we navigated it easily."

"Visited BX Creek Trails in late February, and it was so amazingly beautiful. The short 3-5 minute walk to the falls led to a set of stairs going down for a closer view, but you can also go around to see the falls from the top. The entire area was covered in snow, hiding the waterfall and stream beneath it, with water pushing through in some places. The sound of rushing water under the snow made the experience even more special.
The stairs had a lot of black ice, so caution is needed, but itβs definitely doable with careful steps. Parking was not bad, and the peaceful winter scenery made it well worth the visit. Canβt wait to return in the spring to see the falls in full force.
Ps: I think it's good for Winter and Spring only. Might not look great if the water is less"

"A nice walking trail, only a few spots where one with mobility issues may find it tough, but doable."
