"Every aspect of our stay at Estancia was tremendous. We loved the explanation of the mission preserving the old traditions but adapting to conserve and preserve the puma. What a wonderful time we had. Highly recommend! The food and drinks were outstanding at each offering!!"

The setting is ideal, the staff are amazing and the excursions offered are great. You can’t really pre-book an excursion due to variables like weather, but I can say from personal experience they’ll do all they can to get you on the ones they wanted.
Thanks for a great trip"

"Our visit to Estancia Cerro Guido was a top highlight of our Argentina & Chile vacation. It is a fabulous place to base yourself for a visit to Torres Del Paine National Park. From the incredible staff, the truly amazing food-what a garden!, the well-appointed rooms, and unrivaled views, I really think you can’t go wrong choosing Cerro Guido. The number of different activities you can do through the ranch’s excursions or your own choices is vast. I will say upfront that the majority of our time exploring during our stay was with a private guide we arranged to take us into the National Park. The ranch folks did not seem to have any issue with this as we were not the only ones. Though at times there seemed to be some confusion on what our plans were during our stay. Not clear how that came about but it worked out in the end. We did take two excursions from the list of options offered through Cerro Guido which were informative.
We can not praise the dining staff enough. From the fantastic dishes and desserts coming from the kitchen to the service staff that learned our names, drink preferences, and even our normal pace of dining, it was an immense pleasure at every meal. The Wednesday evening BBQ Buffet was a highlight. To enjoy this level of cuisine in a location like this (which is two hours from any semblance of a city) is a true testament to the chef and his crew and to the level of service this establishment provides.
Lots of wildlife visiting the property-Guanaco, Rhea, Foxes including one who enjoyed a sunbath in a field with one of the resident horses. If you are a birder you’ll love the Condors, Carcara, and other unique avian species. We learned many details of the history of the estancia, how the property works now, the gaucho life, and the Puma conservation work being done on the ranch. Very commendable. Our guide, Aurelie, was an excellent resource for answering questions.
If you are planning a trip to Patagonia, do yourself a favor and look into staying at this beautiful place. I can say without reservation that you will leave happy and impressed."
