"Unless you’re familiar with Du Fu’s poems, you’re here for the lush greenery and well kept park. And I was very surprised by the number of famous personalities who have visited the grounds. In Singapore, we’re probably more familiar with Li Bai, not Du Fu because of our secondary school text. But since they were close like brothers, it piqued my interest and I went searching for his poems. I was also happy to see marble statues of Li Bai, Du Fu and Su Tong Po. And we went searching for his thatched cottage."
