Mount Emei/Emeishan 1 day route
Hi everyone! I am heading to Mount Emei/Emeishan in June for a whole day from Chengdu. I found some information on taking a 1.5 hour bus up to a pavilion in the mountain and then taking a cable car to the submit and coming down the same way. In this process, I feel like I miss…
Visiting emei shan to see monkeys
I really like monkeys and would like to meet some wild ones (I know they’re aggressive so I will not engage them, I just want to see some from afar in the wild). I was thinking about traveling to emei shan to do this since I am In chengdu. Does this sound like a good plan?

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Baoguo Temple for its historical significance, beautiful architecture, and peaceful atmosphere, especially when visited during quieter times. Some note that the temple can become crowded and that the gift shops are quite expensive, which can detract from the spiritual experience for some. Despite these minor drawbacks, the well-kept grounds and ancient charm make it a worthwhile visit.
"Visited after hours so we didn't have the chance to go inside and look at the temple. Yet we still have the opportunity to check our the Buddhist cravings by the red mountain cliff. As well as check out the beautiful forest nearby the temple. Overall the area was really well kept and was really clean. Unfortunate for not haven't the change to go inside but we are sure it's just as grand"
