3 Weeks in China. What am I missing? [x-post /r/travel]
I'm spending about three weeks in China, hosteling my way from Beijing to Shanghai by train, hitting a bunch of cities along the way. Here's my itinerary: Tianjin (2 full days): Wudadiao, Old Town, antique market, Ancient Culture St., Tianhou Temple, Tianjin Eye (at…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the free admission and the archaeological value of the artifacts displayed, offering a glimpse into ancient burial practices. However, its remote location and the uphill walk from public transport are noted drawbacks, and some find it less engaging than other museums if not deeply interested in relics.

"This was the least necessary of the three museums I visited in Luoyang.
First, for my own reasons, I'm not particularly interested in viewing cultural relics. I initially thought it would be a tomb-diving experience, but it turned out to be a deliberately designed viewing format with no connection to tombs.
Second, it lacks accessibility. It's quite far from the city center, and even after arriving by bus, you can't reach the park entrance directly; you have to walk about 500 meters uphill.
So, if you're not particularly interested in this genre, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip here."

""There is little vacant land on the top of Beimang Mountain, and all of it is the old tombs of people from Luoyang." This museum gathers the burial objects of many kings and wealthy merchants from past dynasties in one place, which is of great archaeological reference value."
