The puppets were exquisitely crafted, and the actors possessed exceptional skill in manipulating them. The overall performance was of extremely high artistic merit. The puppets in the actors' hands could even hold wine glasses and drink, and change costumes instantly. The content of the performance was very interesting. Although I couldn't understand the Fujian dialect, I was completely captivated by the performance. Seeing that many of the puppeteers were young people made me realize how well puppet shows are being passed down. I'm so glad that my country has such a splendid folk culture. This traditional cultural treasure must be carefully protected and diligently promoted."
