"I visited Overseas Chinese museum Quanzhou China few weeks ago, I was so impressed to see there were two temples at Tangerang Java Indonesia with name Benteng , Indonesia at the museum window display.
I have pictures here with my family since we know the temple was built by my ancestor and one at the display was attached at this review . I attached my own photos to show there was a pictures with names on the wall in Chinese character which I am not able to read it neither understand it, but I know one of it was my ancestor name. We cannot trace anything since there were a tsunami disaster on 1883 , when the small Krakatau ( Krakatoa ) exploded on 27th August 1883 left our ancestor 's history gone , but the temple was exist as one of the survivor building. My great grandfather was only a youth left behind survived without family . Then I understand the museum had recorded the migration at that moment . I believe they were connected with Quanzhou, Fujian. It was very touching touring at the museum with lots of information for us. Great museum!"
