What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parque Santander is a central city square in Bucaramanga, appreciated for its lively atmosphere and as a hub for local life and street vendors. However, some visitors find it less of a 'park' and more of a busy urban space, advising caution during later hours.
"I am a Canadian tourist in Bucaramanga and came to this park thinking this was actually going to be a beautiful, relaxing park in nature. This is not really a park but a square. It is located in a busy part of town. There are a bunch of vendors, all lined up and a few benches. Some of the local workers eat their lunch there. This is not a place to picnic or for kids to play. It’s just a square strip in the middle of the city. I was pretty disappointed. Walked around for two minutes and then left. Not worth the visit in my opinion."
