What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pueblito Paisa is a charming replica village offering a pleasant stroll with interesting sculptures and local food options. While some visitors find it a bit small and note the lack of a prominent city viewpoint, it's generally appreciated for its picturesque setting and family-friendly atmosphere. It's considered a nice stop if you have extra time, rather than a must-see destination.
"It was the nicest! I am so filled with nice things after having visited there. I like the sculptures near the bottom of the hill that seem related to the low spots where the water is. Or that concrete lean-to on top. Or the neat stacks of vegetation, or the city surrounded by music. Just fantasmic."

"This was the last stop on one of our day tours of Medellin, its a cute littlerecreation of the Old Town. There's a lot of ice cream shops in souvenir shops. You have to pay to use the bathroom though. There's no real lookout area. Which was kind of disappointing since you're uphill on the mountain it would have been nice to have a viewpoint looking out at the city for a photo opportunity."

"I recently visited Pueblito Paisa, and the experience was underwhelming. The area is quite small, with just a public square, a church, a few shops, and restaurants-enough to explore in less than an hour.
A quaint path tucked at the bottom of a short staircase is lined with food stalls. As we reached the bottom, a friendly waiter greeted us with a warm smile and a menu. Drawn by his hospitality, we decided to dine there. I enjoyed a tasty tilapia meal for 35,000 pesos (~US$8.75) and spotted some chachalacas - local birds - curiously perched nearby. Please note, the restrooms charge 1,200 pesos, more if you need toilet paper.
For safety, if you’re not a local, I recommend using Uber up and down the hill instead of hiking the park trails. lt's a nice stop if you have extra time, but not a must-see."
