What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Museo de Arte Moderno Medellín to be an interesting stop, particularly for its focus on Colombian artists and the unique Khaka exhibit. The terrace offers a pleasant respite with nice views. However, some reviewers note that certain exhibit floors can be closed, and the overall collection size might be smaller than expected for the foreigner entry fee.
"This was an amazing museum. In the heart of El Centro it featured a exhibit the greatest artist out of Columbia. It was nice three stories a lot of history and different styles of art. If you’re not lover, this is a must."
Joseph Nguyen
"I visited early on a Tuesday morning.
Unfortunately, 2/4 of the exhibit floors were closed the day I visited. They were expected to open the next day.
The terrace had nice views and was full of greenery. There’s a lot of construction in the surrounding area."
Chris
"Was expecting much more from this museum and was frankly disappointed at the paucity of exhibits. Some interesting exhibits but overall not really worth the 24k COP entry fee for foreigners.
The most interesting part was the Khaka exhibit and video of the cultural significance of coca in the continent. Video runs on a loop for around 15 minutes."
