Reviews Summary
Termalitas del Arenal is widely praised for its affordability and the variety of thermal pools available, making it a great value for money. Visitors appreciate the ability to bring their own food and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, especially during off-peak hours. However, some recent experiences have noted issues with water temperature consistency and Wi-Fi access for non-hotel guests.
"There are lots of different termales with different temperatures here as well as different depths. We had lots of fun. For 8 dollars this was an absolute blast! We visited after 6 pm on a Tuesday and the place was practically empty. Which made it even more enjoyable because we had almost the entire area for ourselves. There is also food, drinks and a super awesome sauna! The bathrooms were kept clean as well.
Highly recommended for travelers."

"I've been here many times and have enjoyed it, Until today. Paid the entry fee, changed in the changing room, and headed to the pools only to find that the water was tepid, cool, not hot. Every pool was not warm, and the water was not flowing through the pools like it normally is. Was in the park for 15 minutes. I asked for a refund and was told I had used the park for 15 minutes and they would not refund my money for me and my 3 family members."

"Had a really good time until the end. We paid the entry fee for two, rented a towel, and enjoyed the warm waters. When it came time to leave it went downhill fast as we were refused the ability to connect to the wifi they have signs posted for so that we could load directions back to our stay as our phone service wasn't working as we expected it to when preparing for the trip. We were told the Wifi is for hotel guests only. As an attraction for people to come visit and as common as public WiFi is (even in costa rica) I was very disappointed in how potentially dangerous of a situation this policy could have left the tourists in at 9pm at night and an hour away from our stay, one that could have easily been avoided esp. for paying guests. Not very Pura Vida imo."
