For those who have done the Corcovado overnight tour or long day tour, is it worth it?

"Excellent trip to the san pedrillo ranger station today.
Absolutely no food or plastic water bottles allowed. They will be taken off you and reprimanded for it. Reusable bottles only. They take immaculate care of their national parks so it's a good thing.
We saw tapirs, coatis, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, loads of birds and reptiles.
Couldn't recommend highly enough. We wanted to get to Sierra ranger station but was booked out next 3 days so we went to san pedrillo and it did not disappoint.
Only accessible by boat from one of the hotels booking."

"Tour Operator: Jorge Uribe Marin
Tour Guides: Oscar and Isaac
What to bring: Water bottle (water refills provided), sunscreen, bug repellent, appropriate footwear. The park has a varied tropical ecosystem including a rainforest. Parts of the trail can get quite muddy.
Approximately 1 ½ hour boat ride to Drake Bay San Pedrillo Ranger Station and 1 ½ hour return boat ride. I believe there were 14 of us on the boat in addition to the two guides and the captain. Once we reached ranger station we took off our socks and shoes and waded to shore. Then we split into two groups. Our guide Isaac was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area. Without guides we would never have seen the many birds, lizards, snakes, crocodiles and monkeys in the park and on the Sierpe River. Armed with a power telescope Isaac was able to provide us with close-up views of a variety of wildlife including a baby monkey – so cute. This is an all-day excursion. Food and juice included as well as two hikes. On the second hike you had a choice of going to a waterfall or looking for more wildlife. Wear or bring a bathing suit if you want to visit the waterfall. At the ranger station we saw a group of Coatis and single MaCaw – so beautiful. On the return boat ride, you will stop in the Sierpe mangroves for a much-welcomed fruit and snack break."
