Night Walks Monteverde/Santa Elena?
Wondering if anybody has an opinion on which of these to choose Ficus Trail, Santamaria or Kinkajou? I can only do one obviously the main aim is to see some wildlife but I'm well aware animals don't set an alarm to come out when the tourists arrive.

Nightwalk/Tour Monteverde
Hello! My partner and I are spending the next 4 days in Monteverde. We are wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a night walk or a company or guide to go through? We are also looking for any recommendations of other things to do! We are thinking of doing a coffee…
Later Tours Recommended
The 8 PM tour is often recommended over the 6 PM one for potentially more wildlife activity.
Flashlights Provided
Most tours will provide flashlights, but confirm with your booking.

Many consider it a trip highlight, praising the educational aspect and the magical forest atmosphere. "We had an amazing night tour experience with Miguel. He's a fantastic guide who shared his huge knowledge of Costa Rican wildlife with great enthusiasm in English. He truly went above and beyond to spot animals for us.
We saw a baby tarantula, vipers, scorpions, armadillos, lots of sleeping birds, insects, and even an olingo jumping in the trees! The sleeping birds (especially the toucan) were extremely cute.
We did the 8 PM night walk and recommend the later one (they have tours at 6 PM or 8 PM). At $34 per person (without transportation), it was worth every penny! Highly recommended."

"Had a tour yesterday and and from this company today walked for one hour and twenty minutes. (Offer says 1:40) The guide was rushing through the forest didn’t talk much and showed us two birds and a tree….
Guide wasn’t motivated at all. Organisation was good. Lamps were good. Pay more get more. It’s not worth it to pay 34 Dollars for that…."
