What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Tamarindo Farmers Market for its vibrant atmosphere and unique artisanal offerings, especially the highly-rated sourdough bread and handmade crafts. While some wish for more fresh produce, the market is celebrated as a great spot for local finds, people-watching, and enjoying live music, making it a highlight of any Tamarindo visit.
"This is not your typical farmer's market where you expect plenty of fresh produce. This is more of a local market where you can find local artisans, handcrafters and yes, a lot of expat vibes which is to be expected in this town. I liked it. Nice for people watching as well. The bakery stand and Olorun (handmade porcelain jewelry) stand were my favorites. Would recommend."

"This might be the best thing in Tamarindo. And the reason is first the artisanal sourdough bread vendor. The bread is fantastic! Worth the trip alone! Nice people too. Second is the açaí bowl stand. The matcha bowl was wonderful! My only suggestion for improvement of the market is to have more organic produce stands. There are only a couple and given that it is a farmer’s market and not really a craft fair, there should be more produce!"

"Loved this market! So many locals with such talent. So much jewelry and goodies! I wish I got more when I was there!"
