What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Osejava Forest Park's stunning Adriatic Sea views and the beautiful pine forest trails. It's praised as a perfect spot for walking, biking, and accessing secluded beaches like Nugal. However, reviewers consistently warn about the rocky terrain, emphasizing the need for proper footwear and water.
"Winding paths lead through rocky terrain at varying elevations, revealing dramatic cliff- and sea‑side views throughout. Warning - wear good walking shoes and bring water as the paths to the various “beaches” are long, steep, and primarily rock."
Cody Rodgers
"Absolutely beautiful park that connects the town and port, right by the promenade and stretching toward the southern side under Makarska.
There are a few paths to choose from, but I’d definitely recommend the one closest to the water — amazing cliff and sea views. The terrain is super varied too, with rocky spots, little hills, and different levels — one path runs much lower than the other, which makes the whole walk more interesting.
Along the way you’ll find a few benches, plenty of shade, and the whole walk takes about 30 minutes to get to Nugal beach.
The views? Unreal. The colors? Stunning. Just a perfect spot."

It’s a vast area with plenty of spots for walking, biking, relaxing, and enjoying the stunning views. You can access this wonderful place from the port side of Makarska.
Highly recommended for everyone!"
