What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gialia Beach is praised for its peaceful atmosphere and abundant free amenities like sunbeds and umbrellas, offering a tranquil escape. While some find the rocky entry and occasional waves less ideal for swimming, its serene beauty and potential for turtle sightings make it a favored spot in the Argaka region.
"Another great winter walking spot
You can enjoy a nice walk along the beach during winter; nice views and a very quiet place to enjoy nature."
Michael Stoeckle
"We visited this beach on a really windy day, sea and so beautiful and wavy. Really open area so I couldn't imagine this been the best beach for a swim, but its certainly lovely for the beach vibes, quite stoney but nice under the parsols."
Hayley Wimbush
"For me the best beach in argaka region. Although it is almost the same everywhere it feels like it has the smoothest entry to the beach with fewest amount of rocks. The best part is that is very wide with soft sand and you have 20 free umbrellas for yourself because there is barely anyone in AUGUST. Water is clear when there is no waves but because of frequent wind waves are usual and can get big. There are turtle nests π’ and if you want to see them go from mid June to late August after sunset which is very beautiful. It has a parking space. Also big tip try to avoid the centre part of the beach because after 10m there are big rocks that have some grass on them I don't know I try to avoid them and go a few umbrellas to the right. Also beach doesn't get deep early"
