Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Palaepaphos for its historical significance, well-preserved mosaics, and the value offered by the combined ticket for the site and museum. The site is considered a bargain and a captivating glimpse into ancient Cyprus, though some note that more informative signage could enhance the experience.
"There is some construction or renovation works going on, but you can still easily visit the mosaics and the theatre. When you arrive, you can temporarily park your car to buy your tickets and then you should continue driving until you reach the parking lot. There are some temporary toilets at the lot, and there’s a vending machine when you go down from there, near the theatre, if you need water or something else.
The mosaics are shaded and there are explanations in English.
The theatre, is interesting but nothing major.
You’ll spend maybe 20-30 minutes here.
The entrance fee is 4,5 euros per person, free parking."

"A big archeological site, with numerous things to see and historically significant finds for the islands past. Could be a bit more informative as to what the ruins actually are. The ticket includes the Palaipaphos museum as well. Would recommend a visit!
NOTE: I suppose it would be best to go to the museum first and then go out to the archeological area. Helps connect the puzzle."
