What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kozel Chateau is praised for its beautiful Baroque architecture and expansive, well-maintained grounds, offering a peaceful escape. Visitors appreciate the free access to the park and the family-friendly amenities. However, the lack of English-language tours for the interior is a significant drawback for many international visitors.
"A wonderful hunting palace with a large well-groomed territory. It is forbidden to film inside the palace, which is a real shame. Also, to get inside you need to catch a moment with a tour - otherwise there is no way :(
The territory around the castle itself is quite well-groomed, there is a free toilet, a confectionery (with pleasant staff)."

"A unique baroque castle however no English provided tours are available. They do provide a short flyer if you go on the tour that provides a shorter synopsis of what is being spoken on the tour.
Visiting is truly those who have an interest in the castle, rather than those visiting Czech Republic."
Adam Zvolanek
"Beautiful baroque palace, where you can stroll through the gardens and enjoying the sight of the buildings from the outside. The inside can only be visited with a tour (our "English" tour was given in Czech and we would have gotten English translations of what's explained, therefore we didn't take it). According to other reviews and various online sources seeable.
Worth a visit if you're into castles and palaces, especially if you'd be able to speak Czech.
Otherwise the tours might not really pay off."
