Seattle museum of pop culture last weekend. #mopop Their Horror and sci-fi exhibits are worth the cost alone. That #michaelmyers mask looks like a grumpy kid that just woke up. Also, that’s the instrumental panel used in the #frankenstein and #brideoffrankenstein films and I’m sure others. It was cool to see in person.

Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find the Regional Museum to be a worthwhile and affordable destination, offering a comprehensive look at local history, archaeology, and culture. While some appreciate the detailed information and specific exhibits like city models, a few note that the presentation can feel dated and overwhelming, lacking modern interactive elements. Overall, it's recommended for history enthusiasts and those seeking an authentic glimpse into the region's past.

"A nice-to-go regional museum to take a look at old Czech folks lives(and the history of this town too). It had a wide range of exhibition considering the location, and provided detailed English translated explanation for displayed pieces. The entrance fee is cheap. 60Kč per one adult. It has a clean and modern restroom inside too. I recommend you to visit here!"

"If you want to get a comprehensive and detailed information about the rich history of the city and the region, then be sure to visit this Regional Museum. It features rich archaeological collections, art and crafts, ethnography and folk medicine, as well as a large ceramic model of Český Krumlov itself."

Witold Drutel

"Topics covered and artifacts displayed here are just what one would expect. They follow the beginnings and the development of the city up until present. I commend them that the information presented is in great detail. However it doesn't really have the vibes of a modern museum. I felt a kind of information overload as a lot of documents clippings letters are just presented as they are in glass cases and therefore very indigestible. The big model of the city is quite amazing but then again there are no audio visual effects or at least some lights to guide your eye to wander over it. In short my interest wasn't piqued and I would just have a quick walk through. That may be why I was the only person inside."
