"Absolutely stunning space in an old brewery building! Apart from a biographical Egon Schiele exhibition, there are temporary exhibitions of different Czech artists, both very good level. Obviously, the Schiele original paintings can be seen in Vienna, and Krumlov centre is more in memory of the artist, he is an inspiration.
A good souvenir shop and a lovely cafe in the yard complete the picture."

"I don’t recommend this place.
The name Egon Schiele is used simply to attract people rather than because there are actual pieces.
Not only is there a massive lack of originals but the photos they have of his works are bad quality and black and white. Which is almost ironic.
There is one original sketchbook. It’s sat in a glass box, stuck on a single page. The other pages aren’t even photographed.
There are letters. No translation. Not even rewritten.
It’s just miserable. If you know nothing about Egon Schiele it might not be that bad???
But if you do know something and you visited for him? Skip this place. It’s a waste of time and money."

"Significantly overpriced — 50 CZK would be reasonable, IMO. They have great exhibition space but barely anything impressive on display. Most (if not all) of their Schiele paintings are just prints. It's enough to visit their shop (where you can see more prints) rather than buying a ticket."
