Reviews Summary
8 House is praised for its groundbreaking architectural design and innovative approach to urban living, creating a unique 'neighborhood in a building.' While some visitors note signs of wear, its forward-thinking integration of residential, commercial, and communal spaces remains a key highlight.
"8Tallet beautifully combines modern design with a village-like atmosphere. A great place to walk around and enjoy views over the fields and beyond."

"Watched a documentary about this place and previously lived in another Engel’s building so it was a must see. Sadly it’s looking a bit run down and the roof is barely covered with grass. Note there’s a sign no visitors except M-F 10-4 but luckily no one saw us. Has his style and must have been fabulous after it opened."

"I have seen a documentary on this building some time ago so I decided to visit it during a job trip in Copenhagen. The building is located in newly developed area not far from the metro and the train station but also with a nice view of a lake and a humid area. The most interesting characteristic of the building is that the majority of the flats has an independent access from the road or from common external stairs and ramps. The goal of this type of solution was to encourage people to meet each other but I did not find any indication that this is happening in reality. My impression was that the quality of the building was not top quality, I do not if this is reflected in the value of the flats. In any case is an interesting building that generates lot of questions in my mind on which is the best way to encourage neighbors to share emotions and to help each other’s."
