What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Tipperne Bird Sanctuary for its stunning natural beauty and incredible birdwatching opportunities, often comparing it to a safari. The ability to see so many birds up close from the car is a major highlight. However, some find the restrictions on cycling and walking within the sanctuary to be a drawback.
"So beautiful - in one of our country's oldest nature reserves🌞
A great combination of protection and use: Access during limited hours to give the birds peace; but also great access conditions👏"
Anja Hermod Stavad
"A fantastic location for birdwatching. It almost feels like being on a safari. We saw so many different birds and were able to photograph them very close up. At the end, near one of the towers, there's the option of taking a short walk. Otherwise, you're not allowed to get out of your car or bring dogs. (Which, however, didn't deter some dog owners from walking their mutts along the roadside.) 🤬"

"Nice quiet place, lots of geese.."
