What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate Ejer Bavnehøj as a historic landmark and a convenient stop for its panoramic views from the tower. The proximity to Denmark's actual highest point, Møllehøj, adds to its appeal, though some note the distinction between the two. The site is generally uncrowded and offers a peaceful experience.
"Highest point of Denmark and perfect stop to stretch your legs as we did during our way to Hirtshals. Parking and entrance to the area is free, to get on top of the structure you have to pay few Krone and use both stair or elevator. It was not crowdy, but from the size of parking lot and the little store it might, so be prepared to it. Other than that, nice place and honestly this is my first highest point of any country :-)"

"Parking directly on top was free. You can park here and take a short walk to the highest top of Denmark, which is nearby. On this top there you can hear music or music signal, which is generated here randomly for 3-6 minutes. So wish you luck to catch it :)"

"It's Denmark's third highest point. Right next to Ejer Bavnehøj is Møllehøj, which is the tallest point. Ejer Bavnehøj is mainly about the unification with the southern part of Denmark. That's why there's a reunification stone and tower from around 1920. It's possible to access the tower for a small price of 10kr. Definitely worth a visit."
