"Don’t be like the folks we encountered wearing sandals and flip-flops, tripping and sliding out of their footwear. This is a good hike with a rock-heavy, slick trail. Bridges also tend to be slippery. Good elevation gains, fantastic views, and a breathtaking destination. Always prepare for rain and be mindful of expected trail & weather conditions. The streams can rise extremely fast and flow over the trail.
Some trashy folks had left litter at the viewing platform that we cleaned up - just pack out what you pack in! The viewing platform was in disrepair as of February 2025 with broken through boards and some more ready to give way, so exercise caution if attempting to use it."
