"Titou Gorge was a highlight in Dominica! The water is cold but refreshing, and swimming through the narrow gorge surrounded by lush greenery is unforgettable. Not too crowded, fun, and the waterfall at the end makes it worth the trip. Dominica truly surprised me in the best way!"
Marta Stashevska
"I stopped at Titou Gorge after visiting Trafalgar Falls, and I’m so glad I did — it’s absolutely breathtaking! The water is cold and crystal clear. We didn’t go all the way to the waterfall, but we went far enough back to see it deep in the canyon. Fun fact: a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed here! They charge you for a life vest that is required but it's only like $5 us and there was no charge to actually get into the gorge, just the rental of the Life fest. There are warm water fountains coming out as you walk in so if you're coming out of the gorge and you're cold you can go under there and warm up.
It’s such a unique and amazing spot. I visited during the off-season at the beginning of October, and there was only one other person there besides me, so I basically had the whole place to myself. Definitely recommend a visit if you’re in Dominica!"
