"It's right at the corner of Columbus Park. The Town Hall is located in Colón Park , in Santo Domingo. The historic building dates from 1502. It was built as the residence of the mayor, but in the 19th century it was completely remodeled, giving it the neoclassical style typical of the time.
Years later, in 1913, the 29-meter-high tower that characterizes the corner of the current town hall was added, where you can see the clock.
