"Sporting Club is is one best clubs in Egypt. It has a wide selection of sports that goes from simple games like pool table and golf, to extreme ones like swimming, track&field, and basketball. However, if you aren't on the sports side, then there's lots of restaurants to eat from. It can also be a quite nice walk around the club.
Anyways, Sporting Club has a great golf field and I'd recommend visiting it👍"

"Visited for a round of golf, partly through recommendations and partly as it is the sole course close to Alexandria (Alex West is not recommended as a golf course!). Price wise - it was very cheap. EGP 70 to access the sporting club, and EGP230 for a round of golf (with trolley). The course itself is compact (not surprisingly) and if busy, would probably cause some issues - some tees require a drive/tee shot directly over the preceding green, or a crossing fairway. Historically important, there is a need for the course to be taken care of. At the moment, it seems to lack the attention is needs and deserves. The fairways are not great. The greens are a myriad of grasses and mosses. There are occasional mounds of refuse. But with some attention, the course could be brought up to a high standard, allowing it to compete with the new, longer, and internationally designed courses elsewhere on the North Coast - it would have a unique selling point that other courses could never match (being located in the centre of a bustling metropolis). But without the attention it deserves, it risks being subsumed by five a side football pitches or tennis courts, which would be a disaster for Alexandria!"
