What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the authentic wood-heated sauna and the exhilarating river dips, especially the ice bath in winter. The floating igloo offers a unique overnight stay. However, some find the changing facilities cramped and the pricing a bit high, particularly for extras like the jacuzzi.
"Wood heated sauna was big and nice temperature. But there was only a tiny area for modest handheld shower in a corner. The terrace also was big in a bar area. Anyway, the very tiny closet for changing clothes available for just 1-2 ppl at a time, was not pleasant at all and you must wait for your turn in a bar, wearing a bathing suit🤔 which is not very well planned. Place needs a little fix up and is a little pricy: 12,5e plus 4e for jacuzzi. Beer and ciders in a bar cost around 6-7e a small can. Afterall its a nice refreshing swim especially in a cooler day when you get warmed up in sauna."

"We stayed the night in the floating igloo boat, and it was a very nice experience even though it was winter!
During the winter, the igloo is attached to the ground, but during summertime, you could actually use the boat and cruise the river with the whole thing.
The night includes access to the public sauna and hot tub, which was a nice addition. We enjoyed the traditional wood-sauna, only minus was that the sauna was very, very crowded. We didn't try the ice-dipping possibility, but other people seemed to enjoy it a lot! You can also buy beverages (nice selection) and sweet- and salty waffles from the little café they have there.
The igloo itself was nicely equipped, the bed was extremely comfy, and the pillows and blanket were nice quality. There is even a little “kitchen” with tea and coffee. The tap works for washing hands, but for drinking, there was a separated water tank. There is also a little toilet which is completely waterless and no shower. (You can shower in the public sauna during the opening hours, but it needs to be done in front of everyone, and there is only one shower. Shampoo is included.)
Overall, the experience was nice, but there were little things why I couldn't give 5 stars:
- Absolutely no voice cancellation, we could hear everything happening outside.
- We couldn't charge our phones since there were only USB-A outlets and our cables were USB-C.
- There were curtains for the windows but not for the roof (also made from glass), so the sun will wake you up very early.
- The little refrigerator in the igloo was very loud.
But still, we definitely are coming back to try this boat during summertime!"

"So much fun! We had a group of us on this boat for a stag do. It has a bar, the awesome sauna and a toilet! It was great, go into the sauna then jump into the river. Very relaxing and peaceful. Great concept and well done. Highly recommended!"
