Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Finnish Museum of Games for its extensive collection of playable classic games and consoles, and its insightful focus on Finnish game developers. The interactive nature of the exhibits, especially the free-to-play arcade, is a major highlight, evoking strong nostalgia for many. While generally well-received, some visitors note that the museum can get crowded, making it harder to access popular games.
"Very well curated and interesting exhibition about history of gaming and also into Finnish game makers. For an arcade geek their tiny arcade with several real video games and pinball machines was a treat. All of the games worked and were in good shape.
Beyond the arcade room there was a wall of consoles, from the beginning of the video games down to previous generation ones. Interactive displays of Finnish game makers was really fascinating.
The exhibition also had several rooms, decorated to look like a kid's room of the era from various ages, from C64 to late Amigas.
Very high praise for the museum for not only having an amazing collection, but to have it all working and so clean with this amount of visitors, incredible job!"

"If we only knew we could have free plays in arcades here we wouldn't spend money at Noob bar 😂 In this museum you can spend a day learning about Finnish games. We're quite tired after Stamp museum so we spent here only 1-1,5 h. We'll come back another time!"

"Awesome place to relive your childhood again! Gotta push lots of pesky kids out of the way though. The biggest kids get to play the best consoles and thankfully that’s now me. Unless there are other kids who have bigger dads.."
