"Visavuori is an important place for Finnish architecture and art. It was the home and studio of sculptor Emil Wikström. The buildings are a good example of national-romantic style, with strong woodwork and detailed design. Inside, you can see many of Wikström’s sculptures from all over Finland. There is also a modern hall with drawings by his grandson, Kari Suomalainen. After the visit, you can enjoy a good lunch or coffee (soup is really good)!"

"A lovely idyllic place, two hours there felt like a short time. Could spend there more, walking in the garden and having a picnic (they have many tables and benches outside).
The sculpturer's atelier with own organ and observatory was impressive.
The cakes in the cafe were delicious, especially britakakku.
Separate thanks for making leaflets in Ukrainian language!"
