Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Plage du Pont du Diable for its stunning views of the historic bridge and refreshing river waters, making it a lovely spot to cool down. However, the pebbly beach can be uncomfortable, shade is scarce, and the water isn't always perfectly clean. Parking fees and potential crowds are also considerations.

"Very nice place with a beautiful view of the bridge above the river.
It can become quite crowded so try not to go at peak times or during the weekend. The water was not super clean but still enjoyable. There ground is very hard so it's difficult to put beach umbrellas, and the shade spots are not that many, so consider this if you don't want to stay in the sun all the time.
There are lifeguards and it's possible to rent canoes. There is a restaurant/bar/information point close to the beach. The parking costs 6 euros a day."

Gaia

"What a lovely place to cool down on a hot summer day. The kids loved splahing about in the clear waters. Make sure you carry food and drinks as there not much around. Parking can be a challenge during peak times.. lovely of the beaten track find. Will visit again if in the area."

Vishal Nair

"Pebble beach and blue lake close to the Calmmouse caves that we stumbled upon while waiting for our cave tour to start.
Stunning setting and beautiful waters.
There's not much shade, so bring a parasol."
