"Valley of the saints is a real misnomer because it is on and around one of the highest points in the area, over 200 meters.
It is an amazing place to visit, incredible value 9 euros per car irrespective of occupancy and stay as long as you like, the craftsmanship of the sculptures blows you away.
Be aware, there is a long uphill walk to the site and decents to lower placements, if you are going for lunchtime take a picnic, sadly the refreshment facilities are totally overwhelmed at peak time, the young people work their butts off in very trying conditions but there are just too many people.

"Absolutely wonderful place with 100's of beautiful sculptures. Lots of fields to explore in the fresh air with amazing views in the distance. Free entry and car park 6 euro, payable by bank card, no cash payment. Area where you can see sculptures working, toilets and gift shop with hot drink take away machine. Would be good place for picnic in the summer. You can pay for a guided tour. Lovely afternoon here."
