"I often call the Chambéry town hall for information. Each time, I speak to competent and attentive people. But, frankly, I don't know what to say about the in-person reception. I don't go there often. Perhaps I can say that it's very difficult to get an appointment with the mayor, and I find that very unfortunate. (We prefer to talk to God rather than his angels.) 😃👍... Maybe, but well, maybe it was just a bad day. I came to meet with the administrative staff, and the receptionist wasn't very friendly.
That said, I quickly forgot about her, because the professionals in the department were competent and very kind, and that was refreshing. We don't come here begging, after all! 🙄😫
Otherwise, I find the place very clean and generally very welcoming. My only concern is that I've only ever seen the mayor in magazines and newspapers.
I find that unfortunate, as I'd like to meet him to discuss important issues. But each time, I encounter a friendly elected official who doesn't offer any real insight into my request. So, all I can say is that the staff at City Hall are excellent, and we're proud of our City Hall. Long live Chambéry, a caring city! That said, a few renovations here and there to preserve our architecture, which is the pride of our city, would be a plus. 👍
