What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the authentic charm of Courthézon's old village and its historic washhouse, offering a glimpse into Provençal life. The town hall and its park are noted for their beauty and occasional exhibitions. However, some reviews express disappointment regarding the upkeep and functionality of public fountains, particularly during hot summer months.
"Like every summer since 2020 in Courthézon, at the hottest moments of our scorching summers, when people (tourists or not) would be so happy to appreciate a little freshness, they discover our largest and most beautiful fountain, that of the "four seasons" with four majestic swans, which bathe pitifully in an unsanitary and nauseating cesspool thirty centimeters deep at the bottom of an almost empty basin!!! A pigsty without the good family sausage... A cat's pee still barely escapes from a single animal...
All the other fountains are shut down, except for the "May 8" fountain, which, full of sand, is the only one, barely better off... When the technical organization is so nonexistent, or is only there to create buzz or create parties... miracles are better found in Lourdes or Fatima...
Then flooding with chlorine on September 15th destroys all the paint and stone a little more each year.
What a waste... What a waste!"
