Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Chapelle Royale de Dreux for its outstanding beauty, rich history, and the excellent, informative audio guide. The neo-Gothic architecture and the detailed funerary sculptures are frequently highlighted as major attractions. Some visitors noted that the gardens could benefit from more upkeep, but this did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

"This was a real find as we were in the area and sort of just saw it and said lets go and have a look. So glad we did. It was great to have the audio guide so we could learn about the history of the place and BOY! Has it got some history. Interesting to see the painted glass windows that were very pretty. Only one thing I would say could have improved the experience. The gardens needed mowing and tidying and it really needs someone to go round with some weed killer before they get out of hand. I would recommend visiting if you are in the area."
