What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lille Europe Station is a modern and convenient hub, particularly for Eurostar travelers. While praised for its connectivity and proximity to the city center, some visitors find the Eurostar departure experience lacking in amenities and signage. The impressive fresco in the metro station is a notable artistic highlight.
"Fabulous city, far more beautiful & historic than I'd expected. A lovely place to explore with its historic cobbled streets & lovely old buildings, linger over a beer or coffee in la Grande Place. Lovely shops & so many boulangeries, patisseries, chocolateries & the magnificent Meert."

"Update: we were told we’d be taken down to board the train 5 - 10 mons before everyone else. Lo and behold we are still waiting whilst everyone else has gone down.
I found this to be the worst Eurostar station I have ever been to! The way staff speak to you and treat you it’s awful.
For a start we had someone in a wheelchair they proceeded to ask her to stand and walk…like ummm? She’s in a wheelchair what do you expect a miracle?
Then the lounge area we are always in was just a free for all with nothing but a dirty water fountain."

"Fairly bland modern station that's not fully sealed from the elements, hence it gets cold in winter and baking hot in the summer. Reasonable facilities considering, but inadequate seating for those waiting for trains. Eurostar departure lounge is also disappointing with very limited shops and inadequate seating area too"
