"Park is really nice. It has all the facilities and it makes a great day out with the family or just by yourself.
Plenty of parking on my visit but It might get busy on hot days. The water is clear but there is algae floating but this is fine as is fresh wild river.
There is bars and restaurant and also boat pedal or canoeing to hire. Easy relaxing place.

"We really liked this beach, seems perfect for families. Loads of sand, a small river gated section for young children and an open one for everyone else. The "adult" section goes deep quite quickly so good to supervise young children if they can't swim. There are pedalos for €10/30 min, and paddling boards. There is a little fair with 3 attractions and a small play area with a sling and a couple of swing. Forgot to say, there is plenty of shade in the grass which is reasonably close to the beach. We truly loved our time here, it's a nice place to spend a day for families."
