It can be carried out with the support of a practical audio guide and a small "map" on which the various contributions (with attached number) for each floor of the building are enumerated.

On the first floor visitors can enjoy a collection of portraits of Francesco Petrarca and his beloved Laura, along with a series of old editions and prints, from the 15th to the 19th century, of the poet's work (Canzoniere, Trionfi, etc).

"The place is rich in history. The museum has an electronic guide. Entrance 3'50e. But it is better to walk!!! The stormy river and the Vaucluse fountain itself exist only in the spring. In the summer the water goes away. A great place for a walk."
