Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the opulence and historical significance of Napoleon I's apartments within the Louvre, offering a glimpse into imperial grandeur. However, some find the sheer size of the Louvre overwhelming and recommend strategic planning to fully appreciate specific exhibits like these apartments.

"Amazing hotel! The service was so lovely, the front desk people were so kind. We got upgraded to the larger room with a balcony which was a WONDERFUL surprise.

The room is clean, simple, and super comfortable/spacious. It has everything you need: a closet with lit full-length mirror, MINI FRIDGE, coffee machine, tea kettle+tea, hair dryer, and they brought us an iron and ironing board. Plus it was hot outside and the room had powerful AC✨🤌🏻 I wish we stayed longer than one night.

The spa session was nice, however there was another couple at the same time slot which made it a tad awkward going between the pool and sauna (steam room was closed) because the sauna is quite small. Either way, it was nice to end the day with it after walking around the chateau.

I like the downstairs bar area a lot. Super chill and comfy, plenty of places to sit. There were even board games!

Would 100% recommend. Probably the best hotel in town."

"The hotel is in a great location, right in the city centre and near the castle. It offers the basics, so don’t expect much. The pool is great, and I loved the cocktails at the bar. The breakfast was just what you’d expect, nothing fancy. The rooms were the same, nothing special but good enough."

Michel -

"We liked everything. The spa facilities were just fantastic after a long day walking. Being able to go for a private swim with no other guests allowed in your booked slot was so relaxing. The sauna and hammam were nice but the pool was really long and narrow. The breakfast was really good - lots of options with pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage, pancakes as well as tea options and coffee.

The location was absolutely brilliant with the bus from the train station dropping us off virtually outside the hotel and it was a walk across the road to enter the Fontainebleau grounds, starting in the Gardens of Diana. The staff were lovely as well, especially Lucile who gave us a very friendly welcome and smile every time we walked back into the hotel. The only downside was that we couldn't seem to adjust the air conditioning but it was all perfect, really."
