"This museum has lots of various German and French uniforms, flags, armour, a cannon, a mitrailleuse (early French type gatling gun) lots of maps and huge military themed paintings of troops and generals. The exhibition areas are somewhat dimly lit but the artifacts and such are lighted well with a decent amount of light and descriptions in French, German and english, but the english descriptions are not as informative as the other 2 languages. Still was a great museum in an area where 2 large battles occurred before Metz was besieged by the German forces!"
