Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Kaysersberg Old Town for its breathtaking beauty and fairytale-like atmosphere, often describing it as a must-see in Alsace. The well-preserved half-timbered houses and the scenic castle views are major highlights. However, some find it can become overly crowded, especially on weekends, detracting slightly from the idyllic experience.

"I visited Kaysersberg in October 2025, it is a cute village assessable by bus from Colmar.

The bus only takes cash payments onboard so make sure be prepared to pay the 8€ fare without tap to pay like the city bus or trains.

I was recommend visiting the boulangerie and taking a stroll through the vineyard on the way to the castle. it was very peaceful and relaxing. I found this to be a very worthy day trip."
