"This is probably the prettiest village in Alsace that we have visited!
The half-timbered buildings in Riquewihr look like they are from a fairytale! Christmas decorations were hanging from every window and balcony and the atmosphere was very cosy in the pretty restaurants along the Main Street.
Top tip: Park in the car park opposite the main gateway into the old village - chargeable, but within only a short walk of the centre.
If you plan to eat in one of the many restaurants either book in advance for lunch or arrive at opening time as everyone seems to eat early here!"

This is probably one of the nicest villages in France. Absolutely gorgeous. The stone pebbled streets, the houses, the clock, the walls. It has it all. Last but not least they also have a lot of little boutiques selling local food, which is really great."
