Sadiq Khan wouldn’t even attend a meeting in City Hall today to discuss the closure of police front desks. He is rarely prepared to be scrutinised on subjects that affect Londoners. Not good enough! #sadiqkhan #police #cityhall

You don’t rise by healing. You rise by deciding the pain won’t define you. In City Hall (1996), Al Pacino doesn’t just deliver a performance — he delivers a declaration. At the funeral of a fallen officer and his son, his voice cuts through the grief with raw, unapologetic power: “I choose to fight back.” Not out of pride. Not for applause. But because there are moments in life when doing noth...

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the beautiful and pleasant gardens surrounding the City Hall, highlighting the fountains and sculptures as major draws. The unique timescope machine is also a frequently mentioned positive, offering a fascinating historical perspective. However, the modern concrete architecture of the City Hall building itself is divisive, with some finding it imposing or unappealing.

"It's a beautiful place with many fountains and interesting sculptures.
If you ever visit it make sure to check out the timescope machine in front of the tramway stop, it will allow you to see in 3D how the city was in the past, there are 2 years that you can check, one before the world war where the city got completely destroyed and one after it. It's a unique experience."

Ouissal B.

"The City Hall square is one of the central places worth visiting in Le Havre, and that's just because of the gardens.
The Jardins are really beautiful, spread around the square with fountains around, very pleasant to walk through.
However, the huge concrete City Hall, reminding on some East Germany railway station totally spoils the impression and therefore I rate it 3 stars"

Dejan Braki

"The hall itself is not the most beautiful of buildings. However the gardens, plaza, statues, and other amazing things around it more than make up for it and are well worth wandering around regardless of the time of year."
