Visitors rave about the MuSaMa Marseille Soap Museum for its affordable entry, engaging workshops, and friendly staff. It's praised as a charming and educational experience, perfect for families and those seeking unique souvenirs. Some might find it small, but the personalized touch and historical insights make it a worthwhile visit.
"I have recently visited this small, but very pretty museum in Marseille. I was impressed by the workshops they offer during certain hours of the day as one can design their own soap and then take it home. They also have a game where you have to sniff certain soaps and then guess the flavour. I arrived there at 10 am (the opening time for the museum) and even though I was the only one there, the owner explained to me the history and the art of soap making. He was very nice and interested in different cultures. I would recommend this museum because I found it interesting and the visit doesn't last long so one has time for other attractions too."
