"Probably the most impressive Via Ferrata we did so far as a family. We took the blue route, don't take the red unless you have enough experience, material and arm strength. The blue one really is ok, the length and exposure determine the level (my opinion K2 or B level), otherwise I would rate it K1 or A level. No real physical hard parts on it. Come well equipped tho, we are experienced as a family (kids are 13 and 10) and it took us 5 hours including the ascent and descent from the village of Liaucous. Bring enough water and food if you're doing it with kids, there's a lot of comfortable resting points where you can take a break and eat or drink something while sitting down.
Experienced adult climbers can do the climbing part in 1h-1h30 I'd guess. The Zipline at the end is great but you can skip it and meet up at the end of the Zipline. The descent is long (took us 1h30) but incredibly beautiful so take your time to enjoy the scenery.
The blue route was moderately busy (on a sunny day in August) but there are plenty of safe passing points. I think we let about 10 people pass us..

"Nice ferrata, a little bit demanding in certain areas, but overall really beautiful.
The approach takes around 15 minutes from the parking spot located near the church. The climb on the red line is doable in 2-3 hours easily.
There is also a zip line at the end, which of course can be avoided.
The return which is marked at the beginning with a sign takes around 30-40 minutes back to the parking spot."

"With the nice coaching of Florian we were able to do almost all of the Ferrata de Liaucous ‘extrêment difficile’ course. We had a blast! Highly recommended, also for people with some climbing/bouldering experience. Funny fact: Florian flies with a lot of ease up and down the hill to get to the beginning/end of the route where we (in pretty good physical shape) were sweating and gasping for breath, haha. Don’t let this hold you back though, he is always telling you to do things at your own pace but to keep up with him is a nice physical challenge:-)"
