"An amazing experience, we arrived on a medieval day and there were men, women and children from that era feasting by an open fire, the smells brought us back to that era! We were very impressed by our self guided tour of the castle and the heights we reached. We also had a wonderful encounter with one of the medieval staff who spoke excellent English and recounted to us the importance of the books of animals or beasts that were commissioned by wealthy lords, the various symbolism within them and the folklore of the local people. A fantastic experience all round. Merci!"

"This place was not easy to find. We drove the wrong way 4 times before we parked the car along the road and decided to walk the rest of the way. It was well worth it though. The view from the top was great and it was interesting to explore the castle and it's history. At the entrance you are offered to watch a short movie in an airconditioned room about the history of the area"
