"The quays of Rouen are getting a makeover over the years, a little for the tourist economy but also for a little "biodiversity", in addition to the different bars that line the Seine, there is a map from the tourist office that now allows you to find your way around Rouen if you don't know what to visit first, a commemorative plaque for the victims of slavery who passed through this port before the French Revolution and soon some green spaces with a small water fountain and nesting boxes for tits and other passerines... even if I doubt that these little birds will rub shoulders with the gulls and pigeons to pick up the crumbs left by passersby. In any case, it remains a pleasant place for tourists and locals who wish to spend a peaceful moment by the water without being too far from the city."
