Reviews Summary
The Corniche des Cévennes is celebrated for its magnificent natural beauty and thrilling scenic drive, offering breathtaking panoramic views and charming villages. However, some visitors have noted that accommodations and services along the route can be inconsistent, with occasional issues regarding maintenance and hospitality.
"This place could really be wonderful if there was an attempt to maintain, welcome guests, and give it a little love. The location is great, just out of town, right by the river, so you can bathe or just picnic by the river. The views from the rooms and terrace are lovely. That's where it ends. The rooms are terribly maintained. Dust, cobwebs everywhere, ants in the rooms. That's not the worst- it's the smell of the mold and moisture in the room that is the worst. And the reception is not at all helpful. We asked for a real cup to make tea in the room and they would not give us one... just said to use the paper cup in the room. There is no ventilation and way to leave a window open at night because anyone could climb through the window. For 2 person occupancy they give you ONE teabag and ONE instant coffee packet... I guess you have to decide which one gets tea and which one gets the coffee. Luckily, we didn't eat there... so can't comment on the food. Lots of dirt and cobwebs in the room, which is not a big deal... but not really worth the price considering other options."

"After having been and read the comments I give my opinion. It is written 2 stars so obviously if you want comfort take a 5 star. Clean room clean shower, on the ground floor table and chair outside in front of greenery. The cleaning lady takes great care of this clientele. Good breakfast. The downside is the manager you ask something she answers you I don't have, so obviously I ask you what you have, I quote "I'm not going to make you a list anyway." not very pleasant and flat uh let's say not very appetizing my husband was sick with a chicken leg we paid for the drink 1/4 of dew 13e goud very bitter. After that it is nice to visit 1 big market to do on Tuesday."

"So first of all the setting is magnificent, with a lot of silence apart from a bit of traffic on the road. The meal was good but it was full for my taste, the room needs to be completely redone. Also the shower and the walls especially since there is mold in the cupboards. I don't want to be mean but for people who are allergic or anything to mold, it is dangerous and serious to let an establishment rot like that."
